Dear Pastor,
I am a little confused about something and I really do hope that you will be able to help me.
My situation is basically this: I have a boyfriend who got locked up about two months ago. I really love him but at the same time I don't see how our relationship is going to work out because I really like someone else too.
My boyfriend and I talk a lot and we do have a good relationship but I don't know if I should tell him that it is over or if I should talk to the other guy who is really nice too.
My boyfriend told me that he would understand if I walked away from him. I know that I would still be with him if he weren't in prison.
I am the only person he has and I feel as though I shouldn't turn my back on him but I don't know if when he comes out in two months if I will be a different person. I am really confused because he writes me a lot and I don't want to hurt him because I love him.
Do you think it is wise for me to wait on him? The other guy that I am seeing is really very cool because he is one of my good friends. So what do you suggest?

Dear S,
You said that you love your boyfriend very much and that he writes to you often. I don't know why he is in prison but he will be released very soon. May I suggest that even if you plan to end the relationship with him that you wait until he is out of prison.
Pastor.
