Dear Pastor,
I am responding to the letter written in your column dated January 27, 2005 and entitled "Age is just a number."
Sir, I want to tell you that I shared the same fate as this woman. I am 26 years older than my main man is. I prayed for a man also and I too did not ask for a specific age.
I received him in open arms. He got into my life by coincidence. This young man is a perfect man, a gentleman in his own way. I love him as my own child, brother, father and my best friend, next to God.
He is caring, thoughtful and kind and I appreciate him a lot. Just like the lady, I am enjoying every moment we spend together and bracing myself for the day he moves on.
I will be more than happy to help him move on whenever he wants to. I say this because he communicates well with me and this is the basis of the wonderful relationship that we share.
I don't care how my children, friends and wider family members feel about us. It is all about God, him and me.
Please pray for me. Thank you.

Dear L. C,
What can I say? I wish you well. You are your "own big woman."
