Dear Pastor,

I need some advice from you. I am 26 years old and I have never had sex. I really want to try it but I am just scared. I don't want to have sex out of wedlock. I would feel so guilty if I do it but at the same time I really want to do it. It is like I can't hold out any longer.

Can you give me some advice please?

Dear C.C,

If you have a boyfriend and he is willing to marry you, accept his proposal and get married. You have done very well by keeping your virginity. It would be a precious gift to your husband. The temptation to have sex is strong but if you don't have sex, it will not kill you. You will not die. The good Lord who has helped you to fight the temptations will continue to be your strength. Nevertheless, the Bible says it is better to marry than to burn with passion. So if you don't have a man, ask God to give you one who would not just want to have sex but who would marry you.
