During the final segment of the competition, Manchester eased their way to another victory. "We expected a better performance, but we came back in the buzzer section. Once we get back into practice, we will try to improve on our weak areas," said coach of the winning team, Howard Thompson.
The captain of Jamaica College's team, Pedro Whyte, said, "I think the match could have gone much better if we got the things we knew, but I think we put up a good fight, and I'll be back next year."
The Manchester coach, Euan Walters, said: "It wasn't a bad match. Both teams performed reasonably, and they are a young team second and fourth-formers so we were trying to mix experience with youth. But the team members have more years ahead, and they are a good bunch of guys to train for the next couple of years."
The Manchester High School team members were: Raphael Ajodhia (captain), Deon Flemmings, Mellissa Anderson, and Omar Wellington.
The Jamaica College team members were: Pedro Whyte (captain), David Wright, Germaine Grant and Omar Whyte.
