Dear Pastor,
I am a not-so-young female with a three-year-old daughter. I am not living with my daughter's father, but I am still involved with him. I am really confused.
When I first found out that I was pregnant and told him, we were excited because it was our first child. I had heard from people that he was seeing a young girl who lives near to him.
I confronted him and he denied it. Anyway, things got worse in July when I heard that they are still seeing each other.
What should I do?
C. C.,
Dear C.C,
Tell your child's father that you are not trying to compete with a young girl and he ought to make up his mind what he wants.
If he insists that he is going to continue to see the girl because he prefers her, let him support his child and wish him well.
I must give you a word of warning. You said you heard that he is still seeing this young woman. Don't make any rash decisions unless you are absolutely sure that what you heard is true.
Sometimes things people say are not true, so find out the truth.
Pastor
