Another dies from 'Bogle' shooting

ONE OF THE men who was shot and injured during the shooting incident in which popular dancehall figure Gerald 'Bogle' Levy was killed, died in the Kingston Public Hospital on Sunday THE STAR understands.

He is Kevin 'Matterhorn' Reid, 21, of Rosseau Road, Kingston 5.

Reid was among the other four persons who were shot and injured during the incident. The police report that Reid succumbed to his injuries after being shot last week Thursday morning. Reid is the second person to die from the incident as the other persons were said to be recovering from their injuries.

In the meantime, the police said they were yet to make a breakthrough in the shooting.

According to police reports, Reid and Bogle were with three other persons in a motor vehicle at a service station on Constant Spring Road, St. Andrew, shortly after leaving Weddy Weddy Wednesday on Burlington Road in Half-Way Tree.

While there, it is reported that men on motorcycles rode up and opened fire hitting the occupants of the vehicle. Bogle died on the spot while the others were taken to the hospital where they were admitted.

Investigations are continuing into the incident.
