My husband is a liar and a cheater

Dear Pastor,

I am in a relationship with my husband but he cheated on me several times, which has left me stressed and suffering from a lot of headaches.

I am 22 and he is 47. We met through Date-A-Mate and he sent for me to join him in Canada. I found out that he is a liar and a cheater. Now I have 2 kids with him and I am not landed in Canada.

M.J., Ontario, Canada

Dear M. J,

I am sure your husband can assist you in gaining legal status in Canada. It is time for you to take the matter in hand. I suggest that you call an immigration lawyer and explain to him/her your situation and then inform your husband what you were told that should be done to gain permanent status. You ought not to be careless. You should look after yourself.

You should also let your husband know that you are disappointed in his behavior and his cheating has caused you to be suffering from stress. Tell him that you expect him to be true to you and treat you as a lady.
