I still love him

Dear Pastor,

I am an educated English-born lady who is 19 years old. I have been dating a Jamaican man for over a year. The truth is, he is married. He told me in the beginning that he was just with her for the sake of immigration, and now he is telling me that he has feelings for me. He tells me that he cares about me and he can't see why I want to end the relationship.

His claims

He also claims that if he didn't care about me, he wouldn't risk his marriage for me. He said that if his wife ever finds out about me, he will not deny me and if she left him, he wouldn't be upset as he has me.

I have started to pull away from him but not only has he told me I can't leave him, there are too many feelings involved. I know within my heart that I do love him. He treats me well and he has never disrespected me in any other way.

I am confused. Everyone tells me to leave him, but my heart will not let me.

Please help me. Thank you very much.

Everybody is telling you to leave this man, and so far you have not heeded their advice. Perhaps you will ignore my suggestion.Nevertheless, it is my responsibility to tell you that you are going in the wrong direction. And you are going to regret what you are doing if you do not bring this relationship to an end right away.

He's lying

You are being used by this man. He is lying to you. You may think that he is speaking the truth, but he is not. I really do not have anything else to say, except to end the relationship with this man now.
