Fertiliser truck overturns
Clarendon: THE DRIVER AND passenger of a Mack truck narrowly escaped death recently when the truck, which was transporting bio-organic fertilizer, overturned and rolled into a precipice at Alston in North West Clarendon.

Hanover: A SEVEN APARTMENT wooden house was destroyed by fire in Jew Hill, Lucea, Hanover on Saturday, leaving six persons homeless, and an estimated $2.1 million in damages.
A woman's reason for bigamy
A ST. CATHERINE WOMAN was given a suspended sentence last week after she pleaded guilty in the St. Catherine Circuit Court to bigamy. She got married in 1984 to Glendon Codner.
