In favour of an Impeachment Court

THE EDITOR, Madam:

There was an article I read recently where Mr. Bruce Golding wants an Impeachment Court in place to impose sanctions on politicians and public officials who misuse their offices.

I am in agreement 100 per cent with Mr. Golding, but I am surprised that such a system is not in place in Jamaica. We all should support Mr. Golding on the impeachment issues. I would also like to see the term of government shortened to four years. Also, we would like to see a smaller bureaucracy to save the taxpayer millions of dollars.

I am, etc.,
