Recovered! Mad Cobra reunited with some of his stolen property.

DEEJAY MAD COBRA has recovered some of his property, which was stolen from his home in his absence two weeks ago.

The deejay told THE STAR that just last week, police nabbed two men said to be connected with the robbery, and he was able to get back most of his things.

In relation to the robbery, two men appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court last Tuesday to answer to separate charges.

One of them, Randolph Broomfield, was convicted of receiving stolen property and fined $100,000 or six months in prison, while Ricardo Spence pleaded guilty to larceny charges. He was remanded pending a social enquiry report.

Mad Cobra told THE STAR that he managed to speak to one of the men, just to find out what state of mind he was in.

"This man didn't know who he stole from," Cobra explained. "...when he heard that we were looking for the things him realize what was happening that was when him try fi get them back to us."

Altered state

The precious hard drive to his computer, which the deejay says had over 150 unreleased songs, was also recovered but not in the same state as before.

"I am glad we get back the computer, but we only sorry that we lose some of the files on the machine. It is as if they were trying to clean off some of the programs on it. Someone was tampering with it."

Despite the loss, Mad Cobra told THE STAR that he did not press any charges, but just wanted to be finished with the matter.

"We are not pressing any charges 'cause sometimes when people mek dem mistake, we don't really want to add to it. Him have enough trouble... I don't want to be responsible for another two years out of his life."
