'One Love' had more passion

THE EDITOR, Madam:

The proverbial nastiness that has become a trademark for Jamaican movies were not included in the message filled production One Love and took nothing away from the film. I left the theater feeling happy and fulfilled.

I am wondering how many of the Christians that shouted 'Amen' during The Passion of The Christ went back to see One Love. I am recommending that you do so, probably you will not because a Rastafarian was the one bearing the cross. One Love had more of a message for you than the remake of a story that every Christian has come to know.

The message of One Love would probable make most of you have heart attacks since it would be revealing the dirty habits that you church goers have fostered for years; the intolerance of other people's beliefs, the casting of stones and the whole thought of self righteousness.

Pastors why not take your flocks to the movie? You will eventually learn what Christ was teaching and you will understand why he died. Remember now, there is only One Love and it has no boundaries.

I am, etc.,

DONAREE MUIRHEAD

Montego Bay,

St. James
