The lesser of two evils

THE EDITOR, Madam:

I hold no briefs for casino or any other forms of gambling because I see all gambling as evil and immoral for a Christian.

However, I see and hear so many things which are evil and immoral that they sick my stomach to hear and see, especially on the air and print news etc.

For example, some of the slackness which causes me to vomit are these young unmarried ladies and men buying condoms. What for? To have immoral sex? Then we also have the married ladies and men buying condoms. What for? I almost forgot the greatest slackness we have to endure ­ the Carnival, with those half naked women jumping and 'wining' etc. in the streets. If these women were being sold for one cent they should not be bought. Of course there is the undercover, such as adultery etc. Therefore if we are objecting to casino gambling on moral grounds, we have none and if we are asked to choose the lesser of two evils, though I am Christian, I would rather choose casino gambling.

Finally, only the blood of Jesus can deliver us out of this mess.
