Tell Me Pastor Email

Liar, liar

DEAR PASTOR,

I have a friend who is in love with a Jamaican girl, and she is my cousin. She has two children and is living with her baby father. She told my friend that she is single and does not have any children. He is my best friend. She also told him that she is going to school and that is also not true. She lives five minutes away from my aunt so I always ask her about her. I don't want to lose the friendship of my friend. He is the first friend I have had. He asked me if she has a boyfriend at the moment, but I said I would answer in five days time when I am home. He needs to know the truth. I need your advice.

V.S., Germany

Dear V.S.,

Tell your cousin that she should stop lying to this man. Tell her that this man has asked you about her and you do not wish to embarrass her. However, if she refuses to tell him the truth, you will. Therefore, it is better for her to clear up the mess she has brought upon herself.
