Congratulations, Kingston Bookshop

THE EDITOR, Madam;

Yesterday being celebrated as Teacher's Day saw our nation's educators being honoured for their relentless dedicated service to the education sector.

I was very pleased with the luncheon that was hosted for the teachers at the Terra Nova Hotel under the inspiration of the Kingston Bookshop.

I want to congratulate the Kingston Bookshop for 30 years of service and commitment to education in the Jamaican society and the excellent thought behind hosting a luncheon for our educators.

Congratulations, Kingston Bookshop, on a job well done over the years.

In a society where indiscipline prevails and more is expected from our educators it is very important to recognise the work they have done and make them feel and know that they are appreciated.

To all the dedicated, committed and hardworking teachers of Jamaica, I say you are special, please keep up the good work. Jamaica needs you.

I am, etc.,

JASMINE DENNIS
