By STAR UNDERCOVER, INVESTIGATORA CHANCE TO watch nude girls do exotic dancing and other erotic movements is not all that is being offered at go-go clubs, THE STAR has discovered.
Undercover investigations have revealed that many of these exotic dancers are offering a very tempting and explicit side order of sex to patrons who attend these clubs.
Our investigations took us to several go-go clubs in the Corporate Area and the results were astonishing. It was discovered that many of these clubs have 'sleeping quarters' where the girls double as prostitute and offer sexual favours to men and women. These favours can be had for between $2,000 and $5,000 depending on the club or the availability of the girls.
THE STAR news team had barely entered a popular night club in New Kingston when we were approached by several women offering to give us the 'wickedest ride'. Despite turning down the offer several times, we were bombarded throughout our stay and told by individual girls where we could find them if we changed our minds.
Stimulating sex
Attempts to question one of the 'vendors' proved very futile at first but after offering her a drink we were given a revelation.
Simone told THE STAR she has been working as a "exotic dancer" for almost 10 years and have worked at go-go clubs in rural and urban areas. She says about three years ago, she came to realise that her work and the tips she got were never enough so she decided to start selling sex.
"Mi get half an hour break in between dancing so me woulda go weh with di man and come back. Sometime me just go inna what me dance in on stage and we just drive go somewhere quiet and do it inna di vehicle," she revealed as she sipped on the liquor and asked for a light. "Mi tell di odda girls dem bout it and some a dem start do it too from then the go-go club pack every nite."
At another club a female member of the news team was given a very serious offer of some stimulating sex by a dancer who approached and asked her to buy her a drink. Upon being told that she was with a male friend, the offer was thrown out for all three to participate.
We decided to play along. She asked for $4,000 and upon being told that if we were to pay that we would not have any money to pay for a room, she said they had rooms at the rear of the building and she could get us one for $500.
Illicit acts
She led us to a room where there was a bed but no bathroom. Immediately after we went in she closed the door and began taking off her clothes. She approached the female member of the news team and grabbed her breast but was pushed away. "Whapn yuh nuh want me ... you? alright give me $2,000 but him can only watch," she said. We informed her that we were no longer interested and she threatened to get men to shoot us. We immediately left.
But these illicit acts have come as a surprise to many of the managers of these clubs. Managers to whom THE STAR spoke denied that the 'rooms' were for sex but for the girls when they wanted to rest. One told THE STAR that he found that several of his girls were using the room as a sex shop and immediately fired them and got new girls.
But many of the girls insist it was the managers who provided the quarters and encourage them to "give the customers what them want no matta wah". "Is only if them know we a sell sex the club will full," one pointed out. "Check it out any club yuh see always full is because the girls them a sell sex."
