Avoided the red tape
PRACTICALLY EVERY DAY someone breaks the law. Sure, this can be taken for granted, but the odd thing is that quite a number of these people have no desire to become, for want of a better word, criminals.
To be a fanatic
I'VE ALWAYS FOUND the idea of fanaticism, of being a fanatic, rather disturbing, to put it mildly. The effort it takes, the suspension of, well, common sense it takes to be a true fanatic are scary to an extreme.
