Spaldings, Clarendon:
TWO SECOND FORM female students of a high school in Manchester are now in hospital following a case of attempted rape and murder at a river in that parish last Monday.
Police in Manchester have confirmed the report and said that investigations were being conducted into the incident. THE STAR has learnt that one of the two girls is now suffering from serious injuries, while the other is said to be having mental problems.
Reports said that last Monday, one of the girls, who is alleged to have lesbian tendencies, invited the other to accompany her to a river near a popular town in the parish. The teenager agreed and they both went to have a swim.
THE STAR was told that what was intended to be a swim with a friend turned out to be a sexual affair. The girl who invited the other to the river stripped herself naked then stripped her companion and began initiating sexual contact.
The girl who initiated the contact requested that her friend reciprocate but when the invited girl refused, the other became irate. The girl who initiated the sexual contact and who was rebuffed reportedly held her companion below the surface of the water as if to drown her. The intended victim reported that she was overpowered and held under the water for some time.

The aggressive teenager, said to be about 13 years old, then used a stone to hit the other girl on the head. Fearing for her life, the girl who was hit pretended to be dead.
The other girl, believing she had killed her companion, fled the scene. Afterwards, the girl who pretended to be dead, ran into nearby bushes seeking help and leaving her clothes behind.
She was eventually offered help by someone who gave her clothes as she explained her ordeal. She was later taken to hospital for treatment. "I am very happy that she did not kill her," said a relative of the girl who was attacked. "Believe me the pickney almost got herself killed by the wicked lesbian. Is God save her life. Is Him give her back her life so that she was able to tell us what she went through at the river."
Meantime, the other girl was also taken to hospital for psychiatric evaluation after she was reported to be acting strangely following the incident.
Parents are reportedly calling on the administration of the school the girls attend to have the girl removed, based on reports that she is said to be in need of psychiatric care.
