I am asking you for your fatherly advice. I have been dating this guy from I was in secondary school. That is about four years now. I will be 20 soon and he is 30.
Things have not been going well. He has been cheating on me. The other day I confronted him and he beat me up. I have tried to walk out on the relationship, but I can't. I love him too much.
He is my first boyfriend and I can't give up now. Please tell me what to do.

Are you going to remain with this man and endure his beating and perhaps allow him to kill you? So what if this guy was the first man with whom you have had an intimate relationship? Does that mean you should allow him to continue to abuse you?
This man is a chicken. He is 30, but he is not a real man. "Real men don't abuse women". Leave him before it is too late.
