SO FAR, THE month of March has been very hectic for the Stellar Award-winning gospel artiste, as he has been going all out to promote his latest album, 'God and I' across the world.
San has been doing a number of shows, both locally and abroad, and he says the feeling is great, as there has been a positive response so far.
"I feel really good about my tours so far, because nothing was done overnight. Most of the shows were almost sold out before we even got there. We have seen large numbers of teenagers, especially, turning out to these concerts, and it's just crazy. I feel happy to see the turnouts at these concerts and people singing my songs word for word," San said.
Papa San says he owes all the praises to God, as all this would not have been possible without him. "I have to say to God be the glory, because he chose me to do his work, and I am just so happy with all that is taking place so far."
His job, he says, is a huge task and cannot be done on his own so he relies heavily on God to plan, direct and execute his missions. "This job that I have is a God-size job and not a man-size job," San says.
For Papa San, it has been show after show on a continuous basis, with little time for rest. "I've had to travel from one show to the next, for example, I left 'Fun in the Son' and went straight to the airport," he said.
Right now he is quite content with resting at his home in St. Andrew, as he gets himself in high gear to leave the island on Friday for another concert in Miami.
