Dear Pastor,
I read your column on the Internet everyday. To be honest sometimes I wonder if all the stories are real. I have been living in Britain for about four years. I returned to Jamaica for the Christmas and to my surprise I was overwhelmed with how easy it was to have sex with a girl when one speaks with an accent.
I am not in the least criticizing Jamaican women, but I found that women are more then willing to have unprotected sex with men who speak with an accent than those who don't.
Listen, Jamaican women, a word of warning, stop it. AIDS is no play, play.
M.D.,
England
Dear M.D.,
You are Jamaican, but in four years you have developed the British accent and you used it to capture the girls while you were in Jamaica on vacation. Do you believe it was only your accent that enticed the girl to go to bed with you? How do you know that it was not some of your British pounds that you had in your pocket? They may also be looking for an opportunity to go to Britain by associating themselves with you.
'Dissing'
You know sir, I am going to be frank with you. I think you are 'dissing' the Jamaican girls. You talk as if all the girls are the same. No, my friend, that is not true. I want to believe that you came here and fooled them and some of them probably behaved like prostitutes. But it is not right of you to 'diss' Jamaican women. Some of you guys who come out to Jamaica and put on your British accent mix it up with the patois, and trust me, my friend, it sounds awful. So, I don't believe that it was because of your accent why you were able to have sex with the Jamaican girls.
By the way, you mentioned in your letter that you wonder sometimes if the stories you read in my column are real. Should I accept what you said about the Jamaican women as real? Think about that.
Pastor.
