Platinum Dance Group's a... 'Silvery' catalyst

Back: (From Left) Nkomo Thompson, Roger Drummond, Damian Brooks, and Leighton Shepherd. - Ricardo Makyn THE PLATINUM DANCE group is incorporated with nine unique, vibrant and talented individuals: Nigel 'Platinum' Williamson, Roger 'Ice-pop' Drummond, Damian 'Sleepy' Brooks, Tommy 'Sisquo' Hines, David Peters, Marlon Smith, Leighton Shepherd, and Nkomo Thompson. The group has done several dances such as 'Bucky', 'Jefferson's', 'Fresh Prince', 'Draw di Goat', 'Leyland', and 'Ketch di Fowl'. They made their first appearance in Monster Twin's single, 'Monster Walk'. The group has also made appearances in the Ric Rok's hit single, 'Her Eyes', and the new Wayne Wonder video, 'Anything Goes' featuring Lexxus and CCN. The Platinum Dance Group created another new dance called the "Ben Johnson". Drummond, told THE STAR "Yuh have a dance wey come out wey dem call 'Uncle Ben', and me just come up wid the idea now and call it "Ben Johnson". Drummond, the creator of the new dance, explained the dance moves as; "shoulder up, hands closed like yuh ago run off, but yuh nuh really a move'. Roger Drummond and Nigel Williamson told THE STAR, the group is planning to release, other new dances such as 'Step Away', 'Bucky', Draw di Goat', and 'Ketch di Fowl'.
