Response to 'Matey abusing wife'

DEAR PASTOR,

I write in reference to the topic, "Matey abusing wife" dated December 1, 2003. That girl was bold to go up to the lady's house and curse her. She is not easy, and the husband is just as bad because he took off his wedding ring so as to please the girl. I am in a relationship with this guy. He is not married but he has a baby mother. I would never dream of confronting her about anything. I know that she was in the picture long before me.

Not only that, but ladies just don't embarrass themselves like that. I must congratulate you for the response you gave that lady. How can a man sit and let his woman on the side disrespect his wife, the person with whom he lives and who cooks, washes, cleans and takes care of his children? You are right, she must have done something to him to make him act like a fool. Please pray for that man because if his wife should ever leave him and that woman gets hold of him, it won't be pretty. She sounds like a Taliban.

People must use common sense. They should consider carefully what they do to each other. People must not try to destroy each other in anyway at all. It is often said, "What goes around comes around."
