Well done, Corporal Blackwood
THE EDITOR, Madam: I just want to bring to the attention of the public a good deed done by a policewoman in the Spanish Town area recently. I found out that her name was Corporal Blackwood, tall and stout. It seems in the evenings she goes into the bus terminus and plaza and see to it that the school girls that loiter in these places go home, especially in the bus terminus. I'm so grateful, although my daughter does not attend school in Spanish Town. Thank you Miss Blackwood for when you touch the life of one Jamaican you touch the life of all and we must not always reflect on the negative things but also on the positives. At least not everyone has given up on the young people in the country. I can see that there is still hope for us. I am, etc., GRATEFUL PARENT.
